Hello,
although we have been living very satisfactorily in our self-built home for about 10 years, we are mentally engaged with the construction of the next house.
The new one should be completely different! Basic ideas are already available, but some detailed solutions still need to be developed.
For this single-story passive house (approx. 15x15 m), an exterior (top, bottom, and sides) timber frame or timber stud construction shall enclose the massive core made of sand-lime brick (external walls 17.5 cm) and concrete (floor and ceiling approx. 20 cm).
The "shell" made of KVH beams shall lie directly against the masonry shell, receive a cellulose blown-in insulation, and be clad with wood fiber boards (tongue and groove 60 mm).
The surface of the wood fiber boards will be weatherproofed with adhesive mortar, reinforcing mesh, and a top coat of plaster.
The installation of the windows and doors (wood-aluminum) is planned to be flush with the timber frame, i.e., "flush inside" in the insulation layer (approx. 20 cm inner reveal incl. dry plaster).
The sealed flat roof surface shall be spanned by a south-facing shed roof (photovoltaics), with an all-around overhang of approx. 1 m.
The beam layer of the "base" shall rest on concrete pad foundations about 1 m above the relatively even ground level.
For this project, we are looking for further ideas and suggestions or are happy for any advice or tip.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Solid core and wooden shell is a very good combination. Only I have no use for the layered structure at all. I would consistently implement the thermal insulation and heat protection as well as the energy storage. Best regards
