Hello everyone,

unfortunately, we have no good ideas for the bathroom planning. We have already posted our floor plan here:

Now this thread is supposed to be about the bathroom planning.

What we would like:
- Shower without glass, only separated by a wall that should not go up to the ceiling
- Wide washbasin with 2 faucets
- Toilet with some privacy screening

What can no longer be changed:
- Position of the door
- Position of the lower window, since it should be flush with the window on the ground floor (it could only be made smaller)

Further info/questions:
- Bathroom orientation is northeast (in the pictures below)
- The bathroom is approx. 3m x 3.6m in size. So approx. 10.8m².
- Floor plan 2 shows a possibility to enlarge the room a bit
- Bathtub is drawn in at 1.80m x 80cm
- The shower wall is currently 1.60m long. It should be enough if you protect the bathroom from water with a towel in front of it. Right?
- Space between corner of the shower wall and washbasin is currently 73cm floor plan 1 and 95cm floor plan 2.
- Washbasin is currently 1.20m wide. That should be enough, right? There should still be space for towels on the left and right of the washbasin.
- Walls by the toilet and shower are not room-high. See attached pictures
- Does such a narrow window as on the left even exist? Does that make sense?

Thank you very much!

Directly an update from me.
I have minimized the corner for aesthetic reasons. That way, you at least have a smooth wall in the bathroom.
Space up to the sink is about 82cm.
So that would be option 3.

Have you factored in allowances for the installation? I think they take 20cm.

If you want a wall for the toilet and shower, the partition is of course optimal. Just set it up like in the original draft. It's just narrower. This is how it looks with a 70 cm passage in my case:

You would need to show and measure the window more precisely, although there may be more options for a nice view.

A dimensioned floor plan is missing.

How deep do you plan your hand wash basin?

I will provide the floor plan later. We first need to discuss the new floor plan with the architect again, and then I will get back to you here! Thanks again!
