That is an average value. 60cm per person. Everyone has to think about it themselves.

We have a closed room under the stairs and exchange the jackets between spring and autumn from a cupboard in the office. We are not collectors (ok, my husband a bit, but I keep an eye on that ;) ) The jackets he has ready at hand:
- garden jacket
- work blazer
- motorcycle jacket
- suede jacket
- windbreaker
- safety vest
- black casual jacket
- natural-colored casual jacket
- down vest

I’m not speaking for us, but everyone should honestly check for themselves... if it were up to me, we would have 2 meters of wardrobe space (I’m not a shoe collector like some other women and mostly need sporty shoes, but I’ll skip that list ;)
The hallway is the messiest, most cluttered, and most unstructured room in almost every house due to lack of wardrobe space, which "welcomes" every resident.
No matter how big the living room is, that makes you grumpy, after all, you pass it every time.

The problem here is that there isn’t even a place to change except the dressing room.
1 meter for jackets and shoes, 1 meter for the family’s table, wash, and bed linens – then the desire for this dressing room also disappears... you had imagined it a bit more luxurious :(

They are even suitable for extremely constant passages, with this "width" you carry each little cup through individually :-) A clear passage dimension close to 100 is highly recommended, i.e. the rough opening dimension should rather be 113.5.

Where I can basically see our floor plan here, I have to make a brief comment. Last year we built the 610 with a flat roof dormer but without a bay window. Our house is 50 cm deeper though. So 9.60 deep and therefore about 165 sqm. As tips, I would like to give you the following:

Leave the hallway as in the standard floor plan. Then you have more space for the wardrobe. We put a 1.50 Pax in the niche and a dresser under the stairs. Looks great and is always tidy despite two small children. I also wouldn't miss the double-wing door with glass insert to the dining-living room. That looks great and makes everything big, open, and bright. Then, instead of the three-part window at the dining table, we have a lift-and-slide door. I would always choose that again. Totally practical and you have the wider passage to the terrace. We left the corner window on the right side of the dining-living area as in the standard floor plan. That doesn't affect the symmetry, looks great, and provides a lot of light. We extended the wall where the TV is supposed to be a bit. Otherwise, no nice TV furniture fits there. Do you need the pantry? That steals storage space from the house utility room. Plan the layout there, including the battery, in good time.

On the upper floor: Your bedroom is only 2.55 meters deep. That's very little. We have 3.05 and I wouldn't want less. You have 50 cm less space in front of the bed than in the show house. And your dressing room is also 10 cm narrower than in the show house. We have 2.17 meters width in the dressing room and 60 cm PAX wardrobes on both sides. That works but 20 cm more would have been nice. No less for sure.

In the bathroom, we swapped the bathtub and toilet and separated them with a privacy wall. Above the bathtub, a roof window. That also makes the shower nice and bright. And take a second washbasin. I love that!!

In the dormer, we have a separate room of about 10 sqm. I need that though. And the two children's rooms are really large enough and nicely bright. Oh yes, and did you lower the knee wall? If the building plan doesn't require it, I would keep the 1.55 meters raw construction height. That is a very pleasant height and still cozy. All in all, we feel super comfortable. Best regards!!

a nice and effective contribution. One question: who offers the 610 model? Town & Country? Heinz von Heiden? ND?

Edit: found it :) For everyone else: Viebrockhaus Maxime
