Hi everyone, I would like to have my automatic garden irrigation planned by a professional. The local provider here needs 2 weeks for that and then I also have to order everything and of course install it. But I would now like to use the Easter holidays and am therefore looking for an online provider for the specific planning. Surely you can also plan this yourself with various tools, but I want to refrain from that. Better to be on the safe side…

Which providers can be recommended for this?

Thank you very much

Thank you for the info! I would like to do it through an official shop/provider so that I can also order directly if necessary. I am familiar with DVS and their planning service. Are there any others?

Hi, I wanted to measure how fast I can fill a 10L bucket at 3.5 bar, but no water came out of the pipe. It is a branch of the house water connection and apparently we only have 3.5 bar pressure. When I turn it all the way up, the bucket fills in about 5 seconds. I can set 3.2 bar, it takes about 36 seconds. At 3.0 bar it takes 20 seconds and at 2.5 bar it takes 12. Am I just unlucky that I can't get 3.5 bar?

I don’t quite understand your statement. Where did you do the bucket test? How did you set the pressure there? In the bucket test, it is only the flow pressure. You weren’t just unlucky. Size the pipes large enough to minimize losses. Plan the circuits small enough. The best solution would be a pressure boosting station. You only need to activate this automatically during irrigation times. Don’t you have a cistern from which you can get the water or do you have to irrigate from the drinking water line? I recommend Hunter Hydrawise as a controller. Sprinklers e.g. Hunter rotators. They require less water. There are already quite a few posts here in the forum about irrigation. Datasheets are available from Hunter. It’s best to use the pressure compensating housings. The most important !!!! rule is that the sprinklers must reach each other. So for example with a 5 meter range, a sprinkler every 5 meters and not every 10 meters.
