Hello
I have a basement bathroom that is serviced by a Sanibroy sewage lifting system for the toilet, shower, and sink, or rather pumps the waste away. It actually works great, but apparently the pipe that connects the shower to the lifting system is not steep enough, and therefore things keep accumulating in this pipe. In the worst case, this can cause the shower to drain poorly or only very slowly. Does anyone know which drain cleaner I can use that won’t damage the lifting system and that I can pour into the shower and sink? I don’t want to call a plumber every time who then uses a drain snake to relieve the pressure.
Alternatively, I could also buy a drain snake. But could I possibly damage the pump by pushing the snake too far in?
Thanks
Best regards
