Hello everyone,

the blue PE pipe of our water connection is exposed for about 1.5 meters, i.e. not in the empty conduit.

Is that allowed? Do I have to have it laid in an empty conduit, or can it be sanded in and then covered? Somehow I have a little discomfort about it, but I am also happy to have it explained by professionals why this is okay.

Thanks and best regards ;)

Without kabuflex around it is possible, but then please sand it properly. The dirt does not look like sand.

Thank you! I thought the same about the "dirt". However, the pit will remain open anyway until electricity and telecommunications are laid.

After that, the pit will be closed and backfilled accordingly.

The sand is still missing because the pit was dug out like that by the slab foundation builder last week.

Is it a PE 100 RC? Then there will certainly be no problems. It should also be fine if it is well sanded.
