Hello everyone,
according to the contract with our construction company, we have to pay a certain percentage of the construction sum after completion of the building application.
Now the company prepared the building application a week ago, the documents already looked quite complete. However, two documents were missing and should be submitted to the building authority if they wish:
1) Structural safety certificate (statics)
2) Energy certificate
The question is now legally interesting.
x-percent of the construction sum was agreed upon after completion of the building application.
In my opinion, it is not yet completed if the statics have not even been sent to the building authority.
Furthermore, it is theoretically possible that after the review, the clerk finds more documents missing, right?
What do you think? Am I exaggerating? :-D
