Hello,
I need information on who is responsible for filling the joints in the ceiling area or also the wall.
Many house construction companies exclude the painting work from the contracts. Here, the question for me arises whether the joints of the precast concrete ceiling fall under the painting work or if the drywall company is responsible.
I have acquaintances where this was done differently. In one example, the filling was carried out by the drywall company. After completing the drywall boards on the upper floor and WC boxes, etc., they also filled the holes (which were in the concrete ceiling to allow moisture to better flow out of the ceiling) and the joints.
I am asking because I want to be sure that mesh is also laid into the joints.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
