Hello everyone,
At the beginning of the year, we renovated an apartment and had solid wood planks installed by a professional craftsman company. The screed was completely skim-coated by the company before gluing to create a smooth substrate. Now we have finally gotten around to taking care of the baseboards and found that the floor has considerable unevenness in places, so that the baseboards cannot be attached flush and without tension to the floor using the clip system. Are such deviations within the usual range, or is this a workmanship defect?
