Good day everyone,
after a long pause, I am speaking up again.

It is about the following:

I have noticed that the terrace door does not close properly. One bolt still engages! With a bit of strong pressing, it works. Fine and good.
My root cause analysis revealed that the pane is bowed inward. In summer, it gets full sun because of the south orientation.
We have triple glazing without muntins.

Is this normal behavior of the pane, or do we have a manufacturing defect here?
My dealer is sending us a new door leaf, but that’s not the end of it… is it?

A "new door leaf" is after all a consistent attempt to solve the problem?
The glass element remains the same?
Maybe the leaf was too tight around the pane?
I would wait and see if it works.

Who installs it? To me, that sounds "strange" ...

The manufacturer got in touch and said that the frame is to blame for the pane being warped. Due to the heat and the high tension, the pane apparently warped. This problem should be resolved with a new frame.

The frame or door leaf will be delivered and installed by me. If the problem still persists, I should get in touch and a pane will be delivered.

Please send photos from the inside and outside, each showing the complete door with frame and reveal, threshold, lintel. How large is the door? What is the material of the door? At what sea level is the door installed? I cannot imagine that the bulging of the insulating glass pane is responsible for the malfunction. If insulating glass panes are clamped or wedged too strongly/wrongly, they simply break. I am surprised that the manufacturer wants to deliver a sash (with or without insulating glass?) so quickly that you (layperson?) are supposed to install (glaze?) and adjust it yourself (can you?), sounds like a DIY store or internet purchase.
