Paint the exterior facade

Hello!

We are faced with the question of which type of paint to use for our new building. Our painter has given us the choice of silicone resin paint or silicate paint.

There apparently are advantages and disadvantages to both. Does anyone have experience with this?

Silicone resin paint, what disadvantages is it supposed to have? Very durable, very dirt-repellent, thus also resistant to algal growth, only once Sille, always Sille. Karsten
