Overlap curtain terrace door

I would like to know how you did it.

How far does the curtain/drapes extend over the cutout of the patio door onto the wall to the left/right beside it? In other words, how much wall is covered there. Hope you know what I mean.

So 35 - 40 cm are planned with us. There are no pictures yet, the curtains are currently being sewn...

I know what you mean, but curtains are really just dust collectors. Back then, when people still had them, they were about 15 cm. What mattered was not how much, but THAT the corners/reveals were covered.

By curtain/drape I did not mean the classic curtain that hangs in front of the sheer curtain, but rather what you have hanging there. The question also had a different background. Distance ventilation unit <-> window/door opening. To fill the distance with the "hanging" item.

We have 20 cm, which resulted because we had sliding curtains for the first 2 years and have now switched to regular ones. And it still fits.
