Opinion on the floor plan of our two-family house

I am now in the planning phase of my two-family house, the architect has designed 2 alternative floor plans for me, about which I would like to hear your opinion. The rooms are OK as they are, but I think the guest toilet next to the entrance is not very practical, and I am also not sure if the shower bathrooms, which are supposed to be wheelchair accessible, are large enough. Thank you for your expected opinions.

As I see it, the two proposals differ because of the corridor width or the staircase going up - right?

[Behindertengerecht]= wheelchair accessible? Then presumably not only the bathroom would be a problem, but also the way there. What about the kitchen? It is also not wheelchair accessible.

Yes, with the kitchen I will probably remove the wall to the dining-living area so that it is open, and with the shower bathrooms I am considering whether one larger shower bathroom might also be sufficient.

But we, without measurements, don’t either. The sanitary fixtures for, e.g., wheelchair users have special dimensions that you can definitely google. The distances are also googleable, at least you should then have reference values. Also plan grab bars and mark the turning radius of 150cm. I think that can work, since the shower itself is barrier-free. Leaving out the wall in the kitchen is a good idea. A barrier-free kitchen should not be closed on three sides.
