Hello everyone,
I have a (hopefully) quick question.
How long is the distance on the upper floor from the finished floor to the corner where the roof slope begins?
Here are the key data:
_____________________________
The maximum permissible wall height, measured at the eaves-side outer edge of the external wall
as the distance between the lower reference point (see the following paragraph "Lower reference point") and the intersection of the wall with the roof covering or up to the upper end of the wall (= upper reference point), may be at most 4.6m for residential buildings
• with two full floors (II = I+D)

Lower reference point for residential buildings / elevation of the structures
For plots that are higher than or at the same height as the access road (access from the south):
• the top edge of the ground floor shell floor may not be more than 30cm above the existing terrain at the highest existing point of the residential building
_____________________________

Now my calculation goes from the top edge of the floor slab to the clear room height (concrete ceiling) upper floor: 2.63m.
Plus concrete slab upper floor 0.24m + floor construction upper floor 0.15m = 3.02m.
Now the 4.6m are measured on the outside (hence bolded).
With a 48° gable roof, this height rises inward.
Therefore some angle calculations. (I'll save you those, instead I have a picture).
I assume 0.36m outer tiles.

Back to the 3.02m. Out of 4.6m, 1.6m are missing (rounded).
Plus 0.4m (see picture) = 2.0m
What should be assumed for the ceiling construction? I'll assume 0.15m now.
Does that mean from the bottom edge of the upper floor floor to the roof slope it is 1.85m?

Or have I made a calculation error somewhere?

Thanks to you all!
Best regards

Too bad! I don't know which insulation material you want to use, but with usual insulation wool with WLG035 you already need 20cm thick material. Plus battens, counter battens, and roof tiles, you're already at 30cm in cross-section. Taking into account the avoided angle calculation, you have to subtract about 45cm, leaving 1.55m.

Thanks in advance!

One more picture:

The insulation is done between the wooden beams (1) and then foil is stapled on (2), and on top of that come the drywall panels?
So the structure is only reinforced by the drywall?

Best regards
