Hello,
we are building a KFW 55 single-family house with a general contractor. The general contractor works with an energy consultant, who writes that he has created proofs of structural stability, thermal and sound insulation for us. He is responsible for the proof of conformity of the execution after completion. For this purpose, random checks on the construction site are required. We have now received an offer from the energy consultant, as the general contractor does not take this on, namely:
2 random inspection appointments of the thermal insulation, documentation, declaration of conformity for €1130 incl. VAT.
50% are covered by Kfw.
Is the price for the service okay?
How is the inspection carried out anyway? Does he just come to take a look? In this case, should thermographic investigations (thermal bridges) also be carried out?
Regards Body
