Hello,

we want to build a single-family house and have contacted various developers to receive an offer. The offers are now slowly coming back, except for one nationwide (O..a) who wants to create an offer only after a flat fee of 1500.- is paid. What do you think of such a company.

Best regards, Polle 1967

Short and sweet: Nothing at all!

I think there are so many companies on the market that you don't have to pay for an offer.

Yep, I completely agree. Have you contacted your regional construction companies by email? Forget it, most of them aren't really into email because people are missing to check it... they are working ;) ... call, make an appointment, demand!

Hello,

We have also encountered such "candidates" during our search.

They were immediately sorted out - Sorry, where do these company bosses actually live?

If they don’t even bother to prepare offers, they obviously don’t need me as a paying customer either...

Regards,

Dirk

Hello construction expert
Last year we viewed several house inspections with the BU and had a longer detailed conversation with the BU, informing them that we also want to build a house this year. We also spoke with the BU by phone and asked about an offer. Unfortunately, it was never mentioned that an offer is chargeable.
Otherwise, we would not have even bothered to send him our ideas.
