Hello everyone,

we have reserved a piece of land and already have the "draft purchase agreement" from the notary at home. However, my husband and I want to have a soil survey done before the final signature. Until now, I have always read about 2-4 boreholes and am now a bit confused since I have the first offer for it.

Maybe the offer is just too complicatedly formulated for me as a layperson, but I only read about ONE borehole. Do you see it differently??

With our in-house provider, you would have to do the whole thing again, as they require 4 drillings. If the offer states 1 drilling, they won't do more. But I would have at least 2 done. 4 are even better. All a matter of cost. 4 (Schnecken-) drillings with a detailed report cost us around 1200 €.

Many thanks to you both.

I sent an email today and mentioned the issue with the 4 drill holes - let's see what comes back.
