Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me, I have bought a multi-family house with my family, built in 1963, and completely renovated it (windows, gas heating, full shell insulation, etc.). It has a total of 2 floors + a converted attic. Unfortunately, I currently have the problem that noise travels through the chimneys from the "originating" floor to the other floors, i.e. if someone is speaking somewhat loudly on the 2nd floor, I can hear it through the chimney walls in the ground floor.
About the chimneys:
All the chimneys are masonry, the floors are made of concrete, on which fleece screed has been applied.
My questions:
1. Has anyone had similar problems? If yes, what have you done about it?
2. Which "specialist" is the best to contact in such cases?
Thanks in advance for the help!

About the chimneys:
[*]All three run from the basement up to the top.
[*]One has the gas heating connected
[*]The second runs through the living rooms, with a wood stove installed on the second floor
[*]The third is unused.
