Hello everyone,

I am currently planning the last details of my Ikea kitchen. A small question has now come up:
The height of the wall cabinets is determined by the tall cabinet which is 233cm high. Now I have chosen the 92cm high wall cabinets and want to screw the LUFTIG BF325 under a 70cm high wall cabinet. Wouldn't the extractor hood then be too high?
In the showroom, I only saw the 70cm high wall cabinets where the LUFTIG BF325 was screwed under the 56cm high extractor hood cabinet.

I hope you understand what I mean. ;) Thanks for your help?

I installed a flat canopy hood in a 92 cm upper cabinet. This takes some getting used to, as the view of the cooktop is restricted unless you are very short. You can safely use the 70 cm cabinet for this, but I wouldn’t buy the [Luftig] if money is not very tight.
Example:

[Luftig]:

Max. fan capacity: 325 m³/h
Noise level at max. extraction power: 64 dB (A)

Bosch DHI655F (basically identical model available from Siemens, price comparisons between brands are sometimes worthwhile)

max. normal level 450 m³/h, intensive level 700 m³/h
Noise values:
Max. normal level: 59 dB(A) re 1 pW (47 dB(A) re 20 µPa sound pressure)
Intensive level: 62 dB(A) re 1 pW (50 dB(A) re 20 µPa sound pressure)

So the Bosch hood is significantly quieter at higher performance. A loud extractor hood is usually not used.
