House design
Who designed the plan: Eksjöhus
Planner of the construction company
+ architect of the manufacturer

What do you particularly like?: cathedral ceiling in the living room, separated sleeping area
What don’t you like? Why?: carport is elongated for 2 vehicles due to space reasons, cannot have a continuous side wall because of boundary development, caravan should also be accommodated
Utility room is far from the house connection
Preferred heating technology: air-water heat pump with heat recovery, planned company is Fa.Tecalor

Why did the design turn out the way it is now?
- Standard design from the manufacturer with personal adjustments by planner/manufacturer
- Which wishes were implemented by the architect? Cathedral ceiling, dressing room, room layout
- What makes it particularly good or bad in your opinion? Fits best for us according to current considerations

Hello everyone,
After several weeks of lurking, I registered today. Very exciting how many different requirements and wishes there are.
Our project should start as soon as possible and we would like to receive opinions and suggestions on what could be done differently/better.
Basically, the design corresponds to our ideas and wishes, but we are curious about the opinions here.
Building location is in the district of Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg.

Regards

A certain degree of similarities reminds me of another quite recent thread: - maybe this reading tip will be useful to you ...

Are you planning the carport in the south? Is there a reason for that? I would mirror the whole thing so that some sun can come in through the not-so-large windows. The house will be dark. The walk-in closet cannot be furnished as drawn, at least not with cabinets (RBM 190cm). I would make the utility room door accessible from the hallway and use the square meters of the hallway in the sleeping area as a wardrobe closet. I would then shorten the [AB]. Basically, it is enough for 2...

@ 11ant, Thanks, I have already looked into that. @ ypg The carport is facing north. The idea with the utility room door is good, I wouldn't have noticed that. We will probably implement it that way.

I’ll throw in as a suggestion from Scanhaus Marlow Marlow the WB 136 variant D1. It’s also a T, in this variant it also has a cathedral ceiling and a rather separate bedroom area. It could be brighter than this design due to all the floor-to-ceiling windows.

That would be more my style too, but TE wants the Swedish style, which is somewhat "darker"

Ah, ok. I misinterpreted the north arrow.
I would still try to bring some light into the house. Even a Swedish house can have floor-to-ceiling windows. Or consider triangular windows in the gable.
Personally, the hallway is too large for me. I can imagine that you can get more out of the square meters. I would like to experiment with that, but I really don't have time. Now I’m heading to the garden.
