Newer BSH refrigerators with plinth unit in Ikea Metod kitchen

Neff, Siemens and Bosch offer identical NoFrost fridge/freezer combinations in which the entire ventilation and exhaust system is housed below the refrigerator base plate in a plinth unit.

Hello, even if the device is installed higher, the cross-section of the air duct (Part 13 in the installation manual) is somewhat reduced. Whether this poses a problem can only be answered by BSH (provided the inquiry reaches a competent employee).

Thank you for the information. Interesting, the quality of these devices seems to be more than poor, especially considering the prices. I have also read similar things. Maybe I'll take a closer look at Liebherr after all, they apparently have a conventional design. What is important to me is NoFrost, and unfortunately, there is not much choice in the built-in appliance segment...
