New telephone connection

Hello. I hope this is the right place. Is there an alternative to the Telekom connection? We use the home phone and internet at home so rarely, is there a reasonable alternative to go online at home, occasionally receive fax?

Cable connection? Mobile internet depending on reception... And then it really gets tight with alternatives, unless there is a local network.

I assume you want to keep the monthly costs low due to infrequent use? I would get a monthly cancellable internet stick, the smallest included volume with the option to top up occasionally (if necessary). A fax can now be sent over the internet, but then you need a scanner.
