Hello everyone,
My husband and I are considering buying a house from 1950 with an extension from 1995. However, we don't particularly like the floor plan of the house. We prefer the location and size of the property. We would renovate a lot anyway—windows, doors, walls, bathrooms, etc. We are also thinking, for example, about relocating the staircase. However, despite a lot of thinking and sketches, we can't come up with a "master plan" for what the floor plan should look like, but keep running into problems :/ What are your experiences with architects? We definitely want to consult one. But is it the case that the architect only implements what you have already thought about, or did the architect come up with really great ideas for the floor plan? :) Thanks in advance for all the answers :)
Best regards
