Hello everyone,

although I have been registered here for a while, I have only been reading along and gathering ideas.

But now we have finally bought a plot of land and are right in the middle of our planning.

Please take a look, maybe there are still ideas or suggestions for improvement.

It is going to be a solid house, without a basement and with a gable roof.

Many thanks in advance!

Hello

Placing the heat generator outside the insulated building envelope is certainly not so good.

I find the fireplace position in relation to the dining table unfavorable. Fireplaces emit quite a bit of heat and then someone is sitting at the dining table less than a meter away from the fireplace.

The distance between sofa and TV wall only works with a really large TV.

In general, I still see the living/dining area as somewhat unbalanced.

I like the kitchen and terrace location. One could also consider swapping the "heating" and bicycles to get the heating inside the building envelope as a bay window ;)

The sequence of master bedroom/bathroom/walk-in closet is rather unfavorable. I always find it sensible to enter this area centrally through a walk-in closet, from which you can then reach the bathroom on one side and the bedroom on the other. Then someone can get up, go through the walk-in closet to the bathroom, get dressed, and leave the suite without disturbing the person still sleeping. It also makes little sense to plan such a wide window in the walk-in closet.

The attic floor is basically okay, but the guest bed placement is not so great. You should reconsider how to arrange it more cleverly..

In general, views, information about parapet height, etc. are missing, as well as some details from the extra pinned thread above:

Quick question: How big is your plot and what is next to the terrace building line? Neighbor's garden?
