Hello everyone,
for our new building, we are currently in the process of choosing the wall coverings. We built in timber frame construction, so the walls are clad with OSB and a subsequent gypsum plasterboard.
At the moment, we are still undecided on how we want to handle this in the rental apartment. Do we choose the good old textured wallpaper, which is robust but gives a somewhat old-fashioned impression? Some recommend non-woven wallpaper, others the plaster. In rental apartments, the change and the associated potential new painting are ever-present, which is why an optimal solution here would be one that allows multiple repaintings.
Currently, we are at Q2 filling, but in the self-used apartment, we will go to Q3 for fine plaster. In the stairwell, we will forego plaster due to the potentially higher risk of wear.
I would simply be interested in your experiences.
