Hello everyone,
my name is Stephan and I am new here in the forum. And I already have the first questions :)
I will be repainting the facade soon and would like to repaint the gable ends of my roof, currently they are brown stained with an acrylic glaze (if I may believe the information from the previous owner of the house :) )
However, I would like to have a gray/anthracite tone. I was just at a paint specialist who suggested the following products:
1. Light sanding with 120 grit
2. Caparol primer
3. Caparol Capadur weather protection paint NQG
Can it be done this way? Is the wood well enough protected?
Thanks a lot in advance.
PS: I have uploaded a few pictures of the old paint
