New front doors preferably not powder-coated for tenants?

Our older tenant of a single-family house managed to scratch both lids and now also the side of the box of the new powder-coated trash can enclosure within 14 days. At 1,600 euros, that is annoying, but he also made derogatory remarks about the cleaning effort. Now the house is also supposed to get new windows and front door and side entrance door. The two aluminum doors cost 13,000 euros and my question is whether I should rather forgo a powder coating and opt for a matte paint finish instead, since it is easier to repaint?

Crystal ball says: It was powder coating in fashionable matte dark grey with a non-smooth "sand texture" surface. These surfaces have exactly these problems regardless of what and how they are manufactured and advertised.

Suggestion:
Definitely powder coat but forego "sand texture" and matte. Then everyone is happy.
In case of need, a specialist company can easily repaint this powder coating.
Painting is not as durable as powder coating.

Thank you, but there is only a limited selection. I consider high-gloss paint unsuitable. As I said, it is also about being able to repair scratches more easily, so I was skeptical due to reports that powder coating is very difficult to repair...

High gloss is (also) a very bad idea. Between high gloss and (extra) matte, there are many other options.

Summary of surfaces that are difficult to clean or repair are:

    [*]Matte and extra matte.
[*]"Sand texture" or "satin" textures (not smooth).
    [*]High gloss.
