Hello everyone,

my name is Stephan and I am 27 years old.
From the middle of the year, we will fulfill our dream and start a new construction project in a new development area.

I would like to show you our current design and would be very happy to receive comments, feedback, criticism, etc.
Maybe you have already built or are in the middle of it?! What advice can you give us?

Currently, I am still considering exactly how we could design the living room. The couch as a room divider seemed good at first, but I now believe that this option limits me a lot. The idea is to replace these 3 narrow windows from the dining area in the living room with the French door, in order to place the couch in the corner.

I would very much appreciate your comments.

Best regards
Stephan

The plan is not good. When standing at the sink, one third of the house is blocked. The passage is a bottleneck, the corridor to the freezer/storage room is far too long considering it is used several times a day. The furniture, see dining table, has no real dimensions. Your windows are not yet open for discussion here. These three may be nice for an effect, but you really won’t be able to properly overlook the garden with walls between the windows. You would be better off in the subforum Grundrissplanung. Then also with a questionnaire and all floors as well as layout plan.

The upper floor is missing as a floor plan, and the measurements could be less sparse.

Regarding the window issue: I count at least 8 window variants with you. At least 3 of them should be removed...

Thank you very much for your feedback.

This drawing is an example and not the final house. The kitchen practically does not exist yet and was just quickly sketched in.

Regarding the three narrow windows: These are not facing the garden. The garden is only behind the house. Here, it is intended to have only a visually nice effect and not a complete view for the neighbor.

I should actually only be in the storage room when we are in the kitchen. The plan here was that it should be better hidden than in the middle of the house.

Thank you all

I won't say more about that ... And if these are all dummy elements, it doesn't make any sense anyway.
