Good morning,
I need your help, please.
Last week we had a new aluminum front door (with side panel) installed for a hefty 7,000 euros. While cleaning, I noticed that on the inside there is an approximately 4 mm wide and 1 mm deep spot chipped off on the otherwise white, glossy surface. We complained and an employee came to look at the damage. About 10 cm further up, I noticed a spot (about the same size as the new chip) that had already been "touched up" (either already from the factory or after installation by the fitters).
Yesterday we received a letter from the company saying that they will send someone to "repair" the damage, which for us means that the new damage will simply be painted over with a bit of color, just like the spot further up.
Do we have to accept that with such an expensive front door?? Somehow we don’t see it that way, because our money isn’t painted either, it’s real ;-)
Many thanks and have a nice, sunny Sunday
