Hello everyone, I built a counter with OSB boards and would now like to attach natural stone cladding as a cover. However, since these would not hold on OSB boards, I would apply Fermacell to the OSB boards and then attach the cladding. Could this work or could it still lead to problems due to different material expansion? If yes, does anyone have an idea?

In the house, you will not have any problems with temperature fluctuations. Find out on which substrate the sample surfaces in the exhibitions are made. As a procedure, you can alternatively finish the facing panels first and then mount them onto the counter.
