Hello,
we are wondering whether it makes sense to have discussions with several financial intermediaries or if one is enough? Because, as I was told, in the event of a rejection, the rating of the potential customer worsens.

What are your experiences? What do you advise?

(There has already been a [Hausbank] conversation; we didn't find that particularly good, as they didn't think much of [KFW-Förderung].)

Regards

Conversations with multiple financial intermediaries can certainly be held.

However, in my opinion, conditions and especially loan inquiries to banks through intermediaries should only be made by one.

You should calmly speak with several brokers. Inquiries do not worsen a rating, that is a myth. The only problem can occur with Schufa if not a "Anfrage Kondition" but directly an "Anfrage Kredit" is made. If done correctly, even 20 inquiries at different banks can be rejected without affecting your credit assessment. I speak from experience, as I work in real estate financing.

Hello,

It always makes sense to have several talks. Also, a Schufa inquiry does not need to be initiated every time. "nordanney" has already provided information about possible sources of errors. You can also rule this out by obtaining a self-disclosure from Schufa and bringing it to your meetings.

House banks struggle with the funding because the margin tends toward zero. Nevertheless, it is good to seek a conversation with them. In the past, two of our customers' house banks adjusted to the very good offer of a financing broker; it can work that way, too.

Furthermore, I would advise you to contact 2 independent financing brokers. That should enable you to make a decision.

Hello,

In the past, you could go directly to the branch, view it for free or request your own credit report for a fee - in my opinion DM 10.00. You have to check whether you can still go to Schufa in person, otherwise probably online.

I prefer the personal conversation; the buzzwords on the internet rarely deliver what they boast about.

Rhenish greetings
