Hello everyone, I found beautiful lamp holders relatively cheaply in China. However, they do not have a CE sticker. Now, such a lamp holder is a simple component without an electrical connection, and it is also a 24V low voltage lamp. Does anyone have experience with this?

Whether it could be a legal or insurance-related issue

If you bought them in China, you can hardly expect there to be a CE mark on them, so legally nothing is possible there. Insurance? No idea. Probably not relevant, but IANAL.

Let's put it this way. It is quite possible that the brand lamps are also produced on the same production line. So you can get good quality. But maybe it's also total crap and after three weeks they give up the ghost. The missing CE mark actually surprises me. Usually, the Chinese put all imaginable test marks on it - whether justified or not.

By the way, my experience with Chinese goods is mostly very good. Whether fitness bands, phones, underwater cases for cameras for diving holidays, LEDs, accessories for DSLRs, or even USB sticks. Mostly bought through [Ali].

A CE mark is not a test mark, even though this is always believed.
