Mortgage interest - what do I need to know?

What do I need to know and consider about mortgage interest when building or buying a house? Does this topic even concern me if I am building a house?

If you can build the house from the equity, it does not affect you. Otherwise, just google the definition and then read a bit here.

Among other things, that there is actually no bank anymore that is satisfied with a mortgage for a real estate financing, they all want a land charge.

The term mortgage interest is now used analogously for loans secured by land charges. In that respect, it is already relevant. But I do not really understand the question itself... what do you want to know?
