Hi,
I don't know if this belongs here, but I couldn't find another category. Sorry in advance for that.
And it's about the following.
We are currently very interested in a nice old building, built in 1881.
The house makes a solid impression. I only have a problem with the moisture.
The exterior facade is very damp on the north and west sides. My moisture meter is going off the scale.
The facade is very wet, but the base, on the other hand, is not that wet. What is the reason for that? The basement itself is very damp. It was only used for storing potatoes or something like that.
How do you get the walls dry?
Remove the plaster, insulation layer and replaster? I also hope for quick help.
Regards Benitto
