Good evening

Who among you here has ever heard of "ENDFÄLLIGE fREMDWÄHRUNGSKREDITE".

Could this be a "safe thing" or is it better to keep your hands off it?!

I thank you in advance for your inputs or other experiences!

Kind regards

Foreign currency loans are always a risk, which one could theoretically hedge, but then the supposed advantage disappears immediately. I would keep my fingers off them; we currently have (still) very low interest rates, so I wouldn't take a greater risk.

It is pure speculation on a currency and country. If you have play money with a rented apartment, you can do something like that if you know the subject. Absolutely keep your hands off your own home, otherwise you could quickly end up with 30% higher debt if the currency moves differently and the interest rates in that country
