Massive prefabricated construction

Hello all soon-to-be homeowners or already homeowners,

after some initial orientation, we have more or less decided to build using solid precast construction. As I see it, this is a relatively new branch of house-building technology. What criteria would you recommend for selecting providers? Or do you have tips on which companies are good in this domain?

It's not that new. This type of construction has existed since the 70s. We also built our house that way with Rötzer Ziegel Element Haus. Overall, we were also satisfied, except for the usual small shortcomings that occur with every house construction.

We have also already heard of Rötzner. Do they build purely with bricks, or do they also add insulation on the outside? If insulation, which materials can be chosen with them?
One more question: if this construction technique has been practiced for quite some time, is there a reason why there aren't really many providers? So far we only know (and we have spent quite a lot of time searching) – Rötzner, Wochner, Baumann, Kastell (although the latter apparently only does "refined shell construction").
If anyone knows any other names, we would be grateful for hints.

Well, why there aren't really that many providers is actually obvious. To manufacture the walls industrially and keep the cost framework manageable, three components are required. You need a) the raw material, b) a brickyard, and c) a suitable factory where the wall elements are produced. Very few providers have the necessary resources for this. Which wall variants are offered you can only inquire about directly at [Rötzer Ziegel Element Haus]. We have, for example, brick + [WDVS].
