Massive construction or prefabricated house

Hi everyone! While browsing, I noticed that it is repeatedly said that the costs between solid houses and prefabricated houses are identical. However, I do not understand this at all. We are specifically looking for a single-family house with 130-145 sqm of living space. No frills, no basement, the only thing that is important to us are two not too small, equally sized children's rooms, a guest room/office, and a guest WC. Many prefabricated house providers offer turnkey, meaning really everything except the foundation slab, but of course it is still difficult to compare. But with a solid house provider, the costs are definitely significantly higher! What do you think? Best regards Marvin

Turnkey is a flexible term

Yes, unfortunately, that's what I meant by hard to compare! But with Bien-Zenker, everything is included except for the base slab. Whether the door handles and floor coverings are top quality is another matter.... Bien-Zenker is pretty decent.

My concern is to be able to compare or plan with a fixed house price (+ additional construction costs). With the solid construction company, you can also order numerous extras.

Basically, you can find here in the forum for the project Hausbau a guideline with 1600-2000 per sqm, which usually applies to both types, depending on the desired features.

And our experience (also obtained offers for both) confirmed that there isn't much difference.

Show me an example where this is not clear to you? The costs are approximately the same with the same requirements

Unfortunately, I do not have a solid example, which is why I am seeking advice here in the forum! If both options cost the same, why do people even buy holiday homes? Just because they are finished faster?
