Hello!

A question:
We will soon get a Dennert Massivhaus WU prefabricated basement!
The walls will be delivered individually and then set with special adhesive.

Should there be a masonry barrier under the basement walls?

Thanks in advance for the information!

Regards

Hello naje,

you are confusing something. The company Dennert Massivhaus provides you with a basement made of WU concrete either as a semi-prefabricated part or from full concrete. Depending on what you receive, the joint between the prefabricated parts must be executed accordingly. So, for example, joint plates for semi-prefabricated parts or, for instance, swelling joint tapes and injection hoses for fully prefabricated parts.

Masonry barriers are bitumen sheets above the first layer of masonry stones to prevent moisture from rising through capillary action in the masonry.
