Manufacturer recommendation air-to-water heat pump + central ventilation system

after a few detours, we are heading towards the start of construction in 08/22... there will be 160 sqm of living space without a basement. The ceilings will be suspended. We are aiming for KfW 40 or 40+.

We will probably build with a general contractor but might subcontract some trades ourselves if something doesn’t suit us right away...

We were at a building fair again over the weekend... the heating engineers all have their preferred "house manufacturer" that they like to install.

We definitely want a modulating heat pump and a central ventilation system with heat recovery and enthalpy heat exchanger.

Which manufacturers should we consider? We prefer to spend a bit more now for an efficient and longer-lasting device.

At the fair, we were very impressed by Vaillant. However, we really don’t care what is written on the devices – it must be reliable and efficient.
