Manufacturer front doors / windows ok?

Hello, I am currently in the process of getting quotes for the installation of front doors, garage doors, garage gates, and especially windows. Company A offers me Schüco windows and Graute front doors (if desired also Schüco or Hörmann). Company B and C sell Kömmerling front doors and windows.

Are there any concerns about any manufacturer or are they all qualitatively equivalent if you compare identical U-values?

I have absolutely no experience with what is good. All the brochures read great... especially the passive house variants.

Hello Becker84, no, the manufacturers are not of equal quality if the U-values are identical. No one can judge that either because many important details are missing. Among others - Who is the manufacturer (company A, B, C)? - Which window system from Schüco, Kömmerling? The companies you mentioned are profile manufacturers. They only supply the plastic profiles to the window manufacturers. - Who installs the elements? - Color, size, type of the windows? - Glass? ... Regards, Peter
