Hello everyone,

we are currently considering whether to connect our dishwasher to the hot water supply. Regardless of whether this makes sense or not (a system for domestic hot water heating will be installed), I am more interested in which manufacturers actually offer this feature on their dishwashers. Does anyone have experience with this? The nice gentleman at the kitchen studio could only name Miele to me....

Best regards,
Natascha

We have always connected our dishwashers to the hot water. It does not matter which manufacturer it is.

Hello everyone,

I did some research. Basically, there is Mixxx (which was obvious!) and Sixxxxx that manufacture a dishwasher with a bithermic water connection. Of course, you can connect any machine to warm water, that is no problem at all, but it can be that the dishes are not dried properly. Since the warming phase is omitted and the machine uses this heat later for drying.

All in all, the machines are simply too expensive.. I can't wash that much to have a benefit for myself. With 7l that a new machine requires and the low power consumption, you should calculate the purchase carefully :-)

Regards,
