Hello,

we have the ventilation system from Lunos included in our Kfw 70 house. Normally, this is installed by the builder. But when I looked at the prices for the devices individually and also saw that Lunos now offers a KNX control (which means I can leave out the voltage converter and the switch), I thought I would like to install the devices myself.

Has anyone done this before? Is there anything special to consider? I would then take the Styrofoam module directly, which is simply built in, and the pipe including the fan would be inserted hInterhypr.

What I know is that the pipe should have a slight slope to the outside so that water can drain if necessary. It must be glued into the Styrofoam and then, of course, wired normally with the KNX controller. But is there anything else I need to know???

Nobody had any experience with the system?

Well, first of all you should mention whether the rest of your house is also wired with KNX... if you want to install everything yourself anyway, why not a central system?

Otherwise... well, just let your electrician install everything and do the electrical connection yourself... you can make very very very many mistakes with wall breakthroughs if you don't know what you're doing...

Yes, the house will be completely KNX. A wall breakthrough is not necessary! There is a styrofoam block suitable for the system, or simply a 160mm core drill hole is made.

Well, if you dare... I'm not a fan of decentralized systems in new buildings... but better than nothing...

However, you must follow the installation instructions of the manufacturer very precisely... otherwise you'll have many, many holes in the wall afterwards...

What do you mean by many many holes in the wall?
