I have decided on a pergola with a louvered roof. Since I am somewhat sensitive to noise at night and do not want to open the louvers in rainy weather, I wonder if it makes sense to order the option where the hollow louvers are filled with polyurethane foam. It is not only about me; the neighbors above have their bedroom facing the louvered roof. I want to have a clear conscience and not disturb the night’s rest. What experiences do you have with an aluminum louvered roof when it is closed? Do the hollow spaces sound loudly when it rains? Does anyone have a foamed louvered roof and can share their experiences? Thanks for your answers.
