Hello
we have electrically operated slatted blinds from the company Storatex at our house built in 2006. These are equipped with a tubular motor whose manufacturer/type I unfortunately do not know. (see pictures)
The tubular motor has two recessed buttons, one of which is labeled "auf - up". Next to it, there is a large unlabeled push button.
Does anyone know this type of tubular motor and can please tell me if there is documentation for it?
Is it possible to set the stop position in the extended or retracted state using the buttons?
Is there a more convenient configuration device available for purchase that can be connected to the connector (top left next to the orange cable conduit)? Is that a standard connection for blinds?

I am grateful for any hints,

best regards Simon

Hello,
Just write to the producers and they should have such a documentation. They will surely also know the right answers to your questions.

I also think the best thing is to get in touch with the manufacturer. There should be a product sheet with instructions there. I wouldn’t mess around alone either; in the end, it might cause damage.

Unfortunately, I do not know this tubular motor. I have retrofitted one for our roller shutters. What the manufacturer wrote in his operating manual sounded plausible. However, the installation was more difficult than expected. I could not push this tubular motor onto the shaft. My brother-in-law, who is a window maker, then helped me.

Sometimes external help is not bad.

I also have an electrically operated louvered blind from the company Storatex. Similar problems occurred with me as well. No one could help, so I contacted the company Storatex. After a short time, a technician came and fixed the fault. So far, it is running great.

I also tried that and it did not work. I spent a lot of time on it, but somehow it didn’t work out. In the end, I still had to call a technician and he also needed some time.

That is really a tricky technology.
