Hello,

google Ricchetti RESERVE. We came across it at a tile dealer. You have to see it in the original. We decided on Betulla (Birch). Really perfect wood look with the advantage of tiles - also because of the underfloor heating.
The prices fluctuated back then (last autumn) between €43 and went up to €60. Sizes: 20 x 80 and 13 x 80.
Amazing effect: many of our friends initially thought we had laid wooden parquet.

Regards...

Thank you very much, Cascada, for the information. I will look at the tiles from the mentioned brand. Your positive experience report reassures me that the parquet tiles are visually well made, that they look real.

Thank you and best regards,

Hello Cascada,

so we also decided on parquet tiles or tiles with a wood look for our house. And now that everything is finished, I have to say that was exactly right. It just looks stunning. I simply have to upload a photo sometime.

Our tile is the 3000 roble. We laid both formats alternately, I think that looks even more natural.

I hope you find the right tile for you.

Regards Robert

Hello Tauben1a,

Yes, logistics was not a problem. The tiles were delivered on a pallet by a freight forwarder. The driver even pushed them into the garage for me (I helped with pushing, it was quite heavy).

Sure, the shipping costs are not cheap given the weight, but overall it was still significantly cheaper for me than buying from my local dealer and I got it conveniently delivered to my home. I paid about 90 € in transport costs for my 45 m². That’s about 2 € per m². However, I got the tiles for over 15 €/m² less, so I saved 675 € on the tiles. Even after subtracting the transport costs, it is still considerably cheaper.

It really only makes sense for expensive tiles; for tiles at DIY store level, i.e. under 10 €/m², the shipping costs are relatively high in comparison.

Best regards Robert
