Hi! Has anyone of you (or friends of you) decided on countertop washbasins in the main bathroom? We would like to have one, but we are not sure if we are underestimating the cleaning and maintenance effort or if we are overlooking significant disadvantages. Is there anyone with a few years of experience with them? Would you buy them again, or switch back to traditional ones?

We have... And no disadvantages so far. The only thing is if the faucet is freestanding, when you turn off the faucet you drip all over the washbasin with your wet hands.

had the same concerns. After many years: completely unfounded. No additional cleaning effort and the bowls just look great.

We would do it again and again

Works without problems. Just adds a few more drops of water. For example, installed in one of my houses.

Nothing to object to! There's a big international hotel chain (quauasi otell one), they do that and I think it's classy.
