We have a secondary entrance door made of plastic in the garage, which opens outward and hits the wall when fully opened.

We want to prevent this by installing an automatic door closer with a hold-open function. The Burg Wächter GTS513 caught my attention because it does exactly that and is affordable. However, I don't know if it can be mounted from the inside. Our hardware store can't help with this either.

I went to a specialist dealer, and their response was that they don't have Burg Wächter. Only Geze, which costs 200 euros.
That is definitely too much for a secondary entrance door. I somehow find a door stopper or a fan hook silly.

Does anyone have experience with something like this?

According to the instructions, no. I would direct the question (or whether there is another suggestion) directly to Burg-Wächter. If only the strike against the wall is disturbing, a stopper could also help.

Hi!

I have contacted Burg Wächter but have not received any response yet.

We do not want to screw stoppers onto the terrace. The system is supposed to close and hold.

What speaks against mounting it on the outside?

1. Looks stupid.

2. Is it the weather site; don't know how weatherproof they are
