Hello everyone, a newbie is looking for advice here! I bought a 70s end-terrace house that is brick-faced. Crazy as it sounds, the floor ceiling was omitted in the process. Probably to set a visual accent on the facade, the floor ceiling is recessed by about half a brick width, see photo. Of course, this is a source of trouble, especially on the weather-exposed side. Cracks are visible, and there is also moisture penetration. Apart from the fact that the adjoining garage roof is also dilapidated and being renovated, something definitely needs to be done there. But what? I can’t just have bricks built in there, that would never match at all. Does anyone have any ideas? I look forward to tips, best regards, Alex
