Hello!

I am looking for a tall-growing indoor plant. It should grow from the ground floor to the upper floor. What could be used here? I could also help the plant climb by stretching steel cables to the ceiling. From the upper floor ceiling, a lamp should then hang down at several heights into the ground floor as stairwell lighting.

Currently, there is an Ikea plant there! (See pictures)

Best regards,
Daniel

Basically, an ivy or something similar that doesn’t shed leaves would be suitable. However, I believe there is no non-toxic variety of ivy, so whether you want that or not... However, you could build the climbing frame so that you can hide one or more LED spots inside. That might become an eye-catcher.

I don’t think the current plant is meant for that; the stem will eventually just get long, and whether it will look that great is something I question :)

I once saw a fully grown monstera plant, but I think that would be too big again :) Otherwise, maybe hanging plants?

Hi,
take a look at [Efeututen], they climb great and don’t drop their leaves.

Best regards
