Looking for a high-quality water filter!

Hello,

I want to do without the supermarket water filters (brita...) in our new house. Firstly, people say they bring more bacteria into the water than they remove (...) and secondly, I just find the jug and refilling annoying.

Now there are several products. Friends of ours have a three-part additional device under the sink, which provides purified water for cooking or drinking (we have always drunk from the tap!) with an extra tap.

Then there are these professional pre-filter devices, which are installed directly at the first point in the water supply to the house.

Question: What do you think about that? Regardless of the fact that our drinking water is already VERY good. I am talking about allergies, medication residues, and other particles that simply do not belong in the water/body.

Can you tell me anything about that?
